Y Farma - Libifeme Optimal Vaginal Ovules is a medical device to restore the woman's vulvo-vaginal area.
With a presentation in vaginal ovules, it has an immediate and protective action for 72 hours.
It is indicated for:
- Rapid relief for irritation, burning and itching due to vaginal infections;
- Treatment of vulvovaginitis and candidiasis;
- Rapid regeneration and tissue healing in case of traumatic surgeries such as childbirth or recovery of injured tissue (eg HPV);
- Hydration of the vaginal mucosa and promotion of lubrication;
- Balance of pH and vaginal flora.
Y Farma - Libifeme Optimal Vaginal Ovules contains in its formulation:
- Hyaluronic acid: with moisturizing, lubricating and healing action, improves vaginal dryness and imparts elasticity and tonicity to the vulvovaginal mucosa;
- Lactic acid: promotes the rebalancing of the physiological pH and recovery of the vaginal flora, preventing recurrent vaginal infections;
- Glycyrrhetinic acid: with anti-inflammatory (similar to hydrocortisone, but without side effects), decongestants, anti-allergic, calming and soothing properties;
- Polycarbofil: vulvo-vaginal mucosa protector with long lasting action, restores physiological vaginal pH;
- Vitamins A and E: with antioxidant action, also promotes blood circulation, promotes the regeneration and healing of epithelial tissue of the vaginal mucosa and the development and maintenance of epithelial tissue;
- Melaleuca oil: with an antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral action, it helps in the correct healing of the tissues.
For treatment of vulvovaginitis and candidiasis, place 1 ovule at bedtime, outside the menstrual period, for 5 days in a row. If necessary, prolong the treatment by placing 1 to 2 ovules per week until the end of the package or according to medical indication. Repeat whenever necessary. For hydration of the vaginal mucosa, place 2 ovules per week for an extended period of time or as needed. In menopausal or premenopausal women, put 2 ovules per week for a long period of time (6 to 12 months). Precautions:Each ovule should only be used once. If the ovule accidentally emerges from the vagina, do not reuse. Do not exceed the indicated daily dose without medical consent. Prolonged use may cause hypersensitivity. In this case, it is recommended to stop the treatment and consult the doctor or pharmacist. Use during the menstrual period is not advised. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the use of vaginal ovules should be done under medical advice and supervision. Do not use the product in case of lesions or vaginal wounds or together with other devices and/or drugs for vaginal use without medical indication. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Do not use in case of allergy to one or more of the components of the product. Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if any undesirable effects occur. Keep the device out of reach of children.
