Cholester-Oil Duo is a food supplement, especially indicated for maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels and for normal homocysteine metabolism.
With a capsule presentation, it reduces cholesterol biosynthesis, inhibiting the metabolic precursor (enzyme) that produces intracellular cholesterol, prevents cardiovascular problems, provides folic acid (whose deficiency is associated with high levels of homocysteine in the blood, an independent risk factor for cardiovascular diseases) and also contributes to the normal metabolism of homocysteine.
Colester-Oil Duo contains in its formulation fermented red rice, Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty oils (EPA and DHA), folic acid and vitamins B6 and B12.
Omega 3, EPA, DHA: Take 1 capsule per day, with a glass of water, at lunch.
Monascus Purpureus (Monacolin K): Take 1 capsule per day, with a glass of water, with dinner.
Precautions:
Do not take if you are allergic to any of the supplement's constituents. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Heartburn, flatulence and dizziness may occur.
